- 1/2 CUP BUTTER
- 1 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 1 EGGS
- 1 1/2 CUPS APPLESAUCE
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 1 TSP CINNAMON
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 TEASPOONS COCOA
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 3/4 CUPS RAISINS
- 3/4 CUPS NUTS (CHOPPED)
- 1/4 CUP HOT WATER
- 2 TSP SODA
Instructions
- POUR THE HOT WATER OVER THE RAISINS AND SODA AND LET STAND FOR 1 HOUR
- CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER AND SUGAR AND ADD THE EGG
- ADD THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND STIR
- BAKE 9X13 PANS IN A 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES.
