    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
    • 1 1/2 CUP SUGAR
    • 1 EGGS
    • 1 1/2 CUPS APPLESAUCE
    • 1 TSP VANILLA
    • 1 TSP CINNAMON
    • 2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 2 TEASPOONS COCOA
    • 1/2 TSP SALT
    • 3/4 CUPS RAISINS
    • 3/4 CUPS NUTS (CHOPPED)
    • 1/4 CUP HOT WATER
    • 2 TSP SODA


    Instructions


    1. POUR THE HOT WATER OVER THE RAISINS AND SODA AND LET STAND FOR 1 HOUR
    2. CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER AND SUGAR AND ADD THE EGG
    3. ADD THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND STIR
    4. BAKE 9X13 PANS IN A 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES.
