- 2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 1 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
- 1/2 TSP SODA
- 1/4 CUP SHORTENING
- 1 TSP GRATED ORANGE PEEL
- 3/4 CUPS ORANGE JUICE
- 1 WELL BEATEN EGG
- 1 CUP FRESH CRANBERRIES CHOPPED
- 1/2 CUP NUTS
Instructions
- SIFT TOGETHER THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
- CUT IN THE SHORTENING
- COMBINE PEEL, JUICE AND EGG
- ADD TO DRY INGREDIENTS, MIXING JUST ENOUGH TO MOISTEN
- FOLD INTO BERRIES AND NUTS
- TURN INTO A 9X5X3 INCH PAN.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 60 MINUTES
- WRAP AND STORE OVERNIGHT
