- 1/4 CUP SHORTENING
- 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1 EGGS
- 3/4 CUP SIFTED AP FLOUR
- 1 TSP BAKING POWDER
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
Instructions
- MELT SHORTENING REMOVE FROM HEAT
- ADD THE BROWN SUGAR, STIR AND COOL
- ADD THE EGG AND BEAT WELL
- ADD THE SIFTED DRY INGREDIENTS
- BAKE 25 MINUTES IN A GREASED 8 INCH PAN AT 350 DEGREES
