    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
    • 3 EGGS
    • 1 LB DATES
    • 1/4 LB NUTS
    • VANILLA
    • 1 TSP SODA IN A LITTLE HOT WATER
    • 3 CUPS FLOUR


    Instructions


    1. CREAM TOGETHER THE SUGAR AND BUTTER
    2. ADD THE EGGS, DATES, NUTS, VANILLA AND SODA
    3. STIR IN THE FLOUR
    4. DROP FROM A SPOON ONTO A WELL GREASED PAN
    5. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 10-12 MINUTES
