- 1/2 CUP BUTTER
- 1 EGG
- 1/4 TSP SALT
- 1 TSP BAKING SODA
- 1 TSP CINNAMON
- 1/4 CUP APPLE JUICE
- 1 CUP RAISINS
- 1 1/3 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
- 2 CUPS UNSIFTED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1/2 TSP CLOVES
- 1/2 TSP NUTMEG
- 1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED PEELED APPLES

- 2 TBSP BUTTER
- 1 1/2 CUPS ICING SUGAR
- 2 TO 2 1/2 TBSP APPLE JUICE
Instructions
- CREAM THE BUTTER AND THE SUGAR TOGETHER
- ADD THE EGGS AND APPLE JUICE
- ADD ALL THE OTHER INGREDIENTS AND BAKE AT 400 DEGREES OR OVER
- PREPARE THE GLAZE---2 TBSP SOFTENED BUTTER, 1 1/2 CUPS SIFTED ICING SUGAR AND ABOUT 2 TBSP OF APPLE JUICE
- BRUSH ON THE COOKIES WHILE THEY ARE STILL WARM
