- 1 CUP SHORTENING
- 2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 1 CUP GROUND RAISINS
- 2 1/4 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR
- 2 TSP SODA
- 1 TSP SALT
- 2 CUPS ROLLED OATS
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
Instructions
- CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR UNTIL FLUFFY.
- ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME BEATING WELL EACH TIME
- ADD VANILLA AND RAISINS
- SIFT FLOUR SALT AND SODA TOGETHER
- ADD TO MIXTURE
- ADD THE ROLLED OATS AND NUTS
- DROP BY TSP FULL ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET
- BAKE 10 MINUTES AT 375 DEGREES
