- 2 QT LARGE CUCUMBERS
- 2 QT ONIONS
- 1 HEAD CELERY
- 1 HEAD CAULIFLOWER
- 3 RED PEPPERS
- 3 GREEN PEPPERS
- 5 CUPS WHITE VINEGAR
- 6 CUPS SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP MUSTARD
- 1 CUP FLOUR
- 1 TSP TURMERIC
- 2 TBSP CELERY SEED
Instructions
- MAKE A SAUCE OF THE VINEGAR, SUGAR, MUSTARD FLOUR, TURMERIC AND CELERY SEED
- CHOP THE VEGETABLES BY HAND AND COVER WITH COARSE SALT FOR 4 HOURS
- DRAIN AND ADD TO THE SAUCE.
- COOK FOR 20 MINUTES JUST SIMMERING
- COOK UNTIL THICK
