    Garlic: Baked Garlic

    Gently remove the outer layers of skin from several whole garlic bulbs to expose unpeeled cloves, but leave the bulbs intact. Place the bulbs in a baking pan and drizzle each with olive oil or dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and herbs, if desired. Fill the baking pan with water or chicken broth until bulbs are about half covered. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake at 450ºF for one hour or until garlic pulp is soft. To serve, break a clove off the bulb and squeeze its pulp out onto a slice of French bread. Top with a dab of Rosemary Feta Dip.
