    Recipe Introduction


    "This is a knife and fork sandwich that's both creamy and satisfying. You can add a little diced tomato to the cheese mixture if it suits your taste."

    List of Ingredients




    2 slices firm textured bread
    butter, to taste
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4-teaspoon meat extract such as Kitchen Bouquet
    1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
    2 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
    1 cup grated sharp Cheddar, or more to taste
    Diced tomato, optional

    Recipe



    Spread one side of each bread slice with butter. In a medium bowl, beat egg with Worcestershire, Kitchen Bouquet and dry mustard. Stir in the bacon and enough cheese to make a thick paste. Add diced tomato if desired. Spread thickly on the unbuttered side of the bread. Place directly on the 4" rack and InfraCook on HI until the topping is puffed and golden, about 4 minutes. Serve hot, cut in triangles and eat with a knife and fork.
    Yield: 2 servings
