    Recipe Introduction


    "Before you freeze your chickens, remove them from the package and remove the giblets from the cavity. Wrap the chicken and giblets separately and freeze them. When ready to cook, season the bird, inside and out and cook as directed. If you plan to cook frozen birds often, season before freezing."

    List of Ingredients




    3-4 pound frying chicken olive oil seasoned salt to taste
    2 tablespoons, dried rosemary leaves
    crushed garlic powder to taste

    Recipe



    Rub the bird with the oil and mix the remaining ingredients and rub over the inside and skin of the bird. Place, breast side down, on the cooking rack in the low position and cook on high power for 40 minutes. Turn the bird over and cook for an additional 40-50 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165¼F.

    Frozen Barbecue Chicken:
    Substitute barbecue sauce for the seasonings in the above recipe and slather over and in the bird after the first cooking period.
