    Recipe Introduction

"You will use this barbecue-style sauce on a lot of things. It has a subtle taste that lingers, seduces and demands just one more bite."

    List of Ingredients

2 pounds boneless sirloin steak, about 2" thick
    1 teaspoon Seasoned salt

    Western Sauce:
    2/3-cup chili sauce
    1/2-cup beer
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    2 tablespoons vinegar
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion

    Recipe

In a medium saucepan, combine the chili sauce, beer, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and chopped onion. Bring sauce to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Sprinkle steak on both sides with seasoned salt. Place steak directly on the 4" rack. Spread with a thin layer of Western Sauce. InfraCook on HI for about 9 minutes. Turn the steak over, spread with a thin layer of Western Sauce and continue to InfraCook for 9 more minutes. Cook for a total of 18 minutes for medium rare, or continue cooking until done to your liking. Serve steak with the remaining Western Sauce.
