    Sweet: Chocolate Fondue w/ Orange Liqueur

    List of Ingredients

    1/3 cup whipping cream
    1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
    3 tablespoons Butter Flavor Crisco® all-vegetable shortening or 3 tablespoons Butter Flavor Crisco® stick
    8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 tablespoons orange liqueur, divided

    Pound cake or angel food cake
    Strawberries
    Kiwis, peeled and sliced
    Pears, sliced
    Bananas, sliced
    Peeled orange segments

    Recipe

    Bring whipping cream and grated orange peel to simmer in heavy medium saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add Butter Flavor Crisco, chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon orange liqueur; whisk until mixture is smooth. Remove fondue from heat and blend in remaining 1 tablespoon orange liqueur. Transfer to fondue pot. Place over candle or canned heat bruner. Make sure heat is low. Serve with cake pieces and fruit for dipping.
