    Ribs: Damon's Ribs

    Source of Recipe

    internet

    List of Ingredients

    St. Louis style pork ribs
    1 part liquid smoke flavoring
    10 part water
Damon's bbq sauce (or Open Pit)

    Recipe

Damon's ribs are prepared by first marinating St Louis style pork ribs in a mixture of 1 part liquid smoke to 10 parts water for about 30 minutes. You then roast the ribs in a roasting pan that has a rack in the bottom ( you can use a cake cooling rack in the bottom of a rectangle pan if you don't have this type of roaster ) at 350¼F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cover tightly with foil! Ribs are done when you can easily poke your finger through meat between ribs. Brush ribs heavily with Damon's sauce (purchased at a Damon's or found at some groceries - Open Pit original is same thing!) and refrigerate until cold - overnight if possible. Reheat on grill or in oven.
