    Four Cheese & Crab Quiche

    List of Ingredients




    CRUST
    1/2 cup boiling water
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 cup flour
    1 pc h salt

    FILLING
    1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
    1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
    1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
    4 eggs
    1 pt half-and-half (you can substitute heavy cream)
    1/2 cup cubed zucchini or broccoli
    1 cup shredded crab meat
    1 pc h salt
    1/4 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
    1 pc h cayenne pepper
    1 pc h nutmeg

    Recipe



    * For the Crust: Combine ingredients, mix with fork, and press into a large quiche pan. Do not roll; handle as little as possible.
    * For the Filling: Combine eggs, half-and-half, and seasoning. Whisk for 1 minute. Put cheeses, vegetable, and crab into prepared shell. Pour liquid over filling.
    * Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out dry.
