    List of Ingredients




    1 pound bulk pork sausage
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1 can chopped green chiles (4 ounce)
    1 tablespoon minced jalape–o pepper -- optional
    10 eggs
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon pepper

    Recipe



    In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain. Place in a greased 13" by 9" by 2" baking dish. Layer with cheeses, onion, chiles, and jalape–o if desired. In a bowl, beat eggs and seasonings. Pour over cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 375¡F for 18-22 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; cut into 1-inch squares for appetizers (larger for main dish).
