    Pork: Spicy Pork Lo Mein

    MARINADE:
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 tablespoon dry sherry
    1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
    1 teaspoon grated lime peel
    1/2 pound pork cutlets, cut 1 1/2x 1/2" strips

    LO MEIN:
    8 ounces uncooked fettuccine noodles -- broken 2" pieces
    2 teaspoons sesame oil
    1 cup diagnoally siced 1" green onions
    1/4 cup chicken broth
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
    2 teaspoons sugar
    2 teaspoons cornstarch
    2 teaspoons chili puree with garlic OR hoisin sauce

    Recipe

    In medium bowl, stir together soy sauce, sherry, garlic and lime peel; toss with pork. Cover; marinate for at least 15 minutes, up to 8 hours. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package direction. Rinse with hot water and drain, then set aside. In 12" deep nonstick skillet, heat oil; add pork mixture. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until pork is browned (4-6 minutes). Remove from heat. In small bowl stir together all remaining lo mein ingredients. Stir into pork mixture. Add green onions and continue cooking 1-2 minutes until mixture boils. Add noodles. Toss gently and continue cooking 3-5 minutes kmore until heated through and noodles start to brown. Serves 6.
