    List of Ingredients




    BASE:
    2 sticks butter
    2 cups flour
    1/2 cup sugar

    CUSTARD:
    5 cups rhubarb
    6 egg yolks
    2 cups sugar
    4 tablespoons flour
    1 cup cream
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup milk

    MERINGUE:
    6 beaten egg whites
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons vanilla
    1 pinch salt

    Recipe



    Combine base ingredients and press into 13x9" baking pan. Bake at 350¼F for 8 minutes. Pour custard mixture over top and bake the custard at 350¼F for 40-45 minutes. A little before the custard is done pour the meringue on top of custard and bake until golden brown on top.
