    List of Ingredients




    CRUST:
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2 tablespoons shortening or butter
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 egg, beaten

    FILLING:
    3/4 pound ground beef
    1/2 cup fine diced onion
    2 cups undrained cooked kidney beans
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    6 ounces tomato paste

    Recipe



    Crust: stir together all ingredients (may be slightly lumpy). Spread thinly with back of spoon on bottom and sides of a shallow greased 2 quart casserole. Can stir together in advance and refrigerated until ready to use. For filling, brown beef and onion in skillet, and add rest of ingredients. Spoon into crust and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Sprinkle to p with 1/2 c. grated cheese, shredded lettuce and diced tomato.
