    Mayonnaise: Garlic Mayonnaise

    List of Ingredients

    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 large egg or 2 yolks (for thicker mayo)
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    1/4 teaspoon white pepper
    1 1/4 cups vegetable or olive oil

    Recipe

    In electric blender or food processor, blend garlic, egg, lemon juice, mustard and pepper for 30 seconds. With motor running, drizzle 1/4 c. of the oil very slowly into the mixture. Continue adding remaining oil in a thin, steady stream. Mayonnaise will thicken as the oil is added. Can be refrigerated, tightly covered, for up to 4 days. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
