    8 Tb butter (one stick, which is 1/2 cup)
    8 Tb Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c cream
    1 lb fettuccine or other noodle

    Recipe



    Here we will cheat and use packaged pasta: fettuccine or any other common noodle will do

    Place the butter and cream in the top of a double boiler, or one small saucepan inside a larger one filled with boiling water. When the butter has melted, stir in 2/3 of the cheese. Keep warm until the noodles are done. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Put in a serving bowl and add the cream sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
