    Blondies: Butterscotch Blondies

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    4 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 cups butterscotch chips
    1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 13x9-inch pan. In a small bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, mix butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugars. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in half of the chips and nuts. Spread batter in the pan. Sprinkle with the remaining nuts and chips. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted close to the center comes out clean. Do not overbake.
