    BASE:
    3/4 cup powdered sugar
    3/4 cup butter, softened
    2 tablespoons whipping cream
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour

    FILLING:
    28 caramels, unwrapped
    1/4 cup whipping cream
    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 cup chopped pecans

    GLAZE:
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    2 tablespoons whipping cream
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/4 cup powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    In large bowl blend all base ingredients at low until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 15x10 inch baking pan. Bake at 325ºF for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool and prepare filling. In medium saucepan, combine caramels, 1/4 c. whipping cream and 1/4 c. butter; cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted and mix is smooth.

    Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans and 1 c. powdered sugar. Add additional whipping cream a few drops at time if needed for desired spreading consistency. Spread filling over base. Prepare glaze by combining chocolate, 2 tbl. whipping cream and 1 tbl butter; cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 c. powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Drizzle glaze over filling. Allow glaze to set and cut into bars.
