    Lemon: Easy Lemon Sours

    List of Ingredients

    BASE:
    1 package pudding included yellow cake mix
    2 cups crushed cornflakes
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup nuts
    1/2 cup butter, softened

    FILLING:
    1 package cook and serve lemon pie filling mix
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 teaspoon lemon extract

    GLAZE:
    1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
    3 teaspoons water -- (3 to 5)

    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350ºF. Generously grease bottom and sides of 15x10 baking pan. In large bowl, combine all base ingredients at low speed til crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 c. of crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into bottom of greased pan. In small bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix well. Pour filling evenly over base and spread gently. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 350ºF for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. With knife, loosen edges. In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients, adding enough water to get desired drizzling consistency; blend until smooth. Drizzle over warm bars. Cool completely and cut into bars.
