    Coconut: Mini Kiss Coconut Macaroon Bars

    List of Ingredients

    3 1/4 cups coconut
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3 egg whites
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 tablespoons milk
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    Hershey's Mini Kisses chocolates

    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease 9" square baking pan. In large bowl, stir together coconut, sugar, flour and salt. Add egg whites, egg, milk and almond extract; stir until well blended. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Bake 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven; immediately place chocolate pieces on top, pressing down firmly. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes about 24 bars.
