    Splenda Chocolate Cake Brownies

    2/3 c Splenda granular sugar substitute
    2/3 c All purpose flour
    1/3 c Cocoa
    1 t Baking powder
    1/4 t Salt
    1/3 c Soft margarine
    2 Eggs
    1 t Vanilla
    1/3 c Unsweetened applesauce (the call for Mott's)
    1/3 c Chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Combine splenda, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside. In mixer bowl, beat margarine, eggs, and vanilla 1 minutes. Add applesauce and beat just until blended. Spread evenly in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350¼F for about 15 minute or until tester inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool on rack. Store in covered container in refrigerator. Makes 16 brownies.
