Chocolate: Chocolate Fudge Cake

List of Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 2/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup Crisco
1 1/2 teaspoons soda
1 1/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla


Recipe

Sift together dry ingredients. Cream sugar and Crisco, and add to dry ingredients. Add milk, eggs, and vanilla. Beat at low speed for 30 seconds, then medium about 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350ºF for 30-35 minutes. Use toothpick test. Cool and frost.
