    Chocolate: Chocolate Snackin' Cake

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/3 cup margarine
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/3 cup Crisco shortening
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon soda
    1 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    GLAZE:
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 tablespoon cocoa
    1 small amount of milk
    chopped nuts if desired

    Recipe

    Sift together dry ingredients. Cream margarine, Crisco, and sugar; add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add dry ingredients all at once. Mix with a fork till moist. Add 1/2 C. nuts if desired. Spread in buttered 9X13 pan. Bake at 325ºF for 30 minutes. Mix glaze using a very small amount of milk. Pour over cake and spread evenly. Let set. Nuts may be added to glaze, if desired.
