    Chocolate: Cocoa Sheet Cake

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 cup water
    1 pinch salt
    2 eggs lightly beaten
    3 tablespoons cocoa
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon soda
    2 sticks margarine
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe

    Sift sugar, flour, and salt into large bowl. In saucepan, combine water, oleo, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, and pour over dry ingredients. Beat well. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla. Beat well. Bake in a 9x13 pan at 350ºF for 20 minutes. While cake is still hot make frosting.

    Bring to boil: 1 stick margarine, 6 T. cream, 3 T. cocoa, 1/2 c. sugar. Slowly add; 1 c. pecans, 3/4 box powdered sugar, 1 t. vanilla. Pour over hot cake.
