    Corn Syrup Fudge

    List of Ingredients




    2 Cups white sugar
    1/2 Cup corn syrup
    1/2 Cup milk or cream
    1 Teaspoon butter
    1 Teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Mix the first 4 ingredients, stirring occasionally. Boil until soft medium ball stage. Cool, add vanilla and beat with a wooden spoon until stiff. Add nuts and cherries if desired. For chocolate fudge, add 2 tablespoons cocoa.

    Betty's Notes: I do not beat with a wooden spoon...my arms and hands would not take it...I use an electric mixer. It goes a bit faster too...Betty
