    3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 cup sweetened condensed milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    1 dash salt

    Recipe



    Place chocolate chips in a 2-quart microwave-proof bowl. Microwave on high, 5 minutes or until chips are glossy. Whisk until smooth. Stir in milk, salt, vanilla and nuts. Spread evenly in waxed paper-lined 8-inch square pan. Chill 1-2 hours or until firm. Turn out on cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares.

    SUBSTITUTIONS
    FOR ROCKY ROAD:4 c. (24 oz.) butterscotch chips 2 c. miniature marshmallows

    FOR TRUFFLES Roll small squares of fudge between palm of hands to form small balls. Roll balls in unsweetened cocoa, flaked coconut or finely chopped nuts. Can use 2 tablespoons of rum flavoring instead of vanilla, if desired.
