Honey Peanut Butter Fudge

4 cups sugar
2 egg whites
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup water
1 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla


Recipe

Boil 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to soft ball stage (234 - 238ºF). Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites, beating constantly until stiff. Boil together 3 cups sugar, honey, peanut butter, and 1/2 cup water to soft ball stage (234 - 238ºF). Slowly add to first mixture. Beat constantly until the mixture will hold its shape when dropped from a teaspoon. Add nuts and flavoring. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
