    Mother's Pecan Fudge

    List of Ingredients




    2 unsweetened chocolate squares (1 oz.)
    2 cups sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup milk
    5 tablespoons white corn syrup
    4 teaspoons butter or margarine
    1 cup chopped pecans
    2 teaspoons vanilla

    Recipe



    Cook the first 5 ingredients to a soft boil (235 degrees). Remove from heat and add butter. Cool slightly; then beat until amost stiff. Add nuts and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls quickly onto waxed paper or pour onto slightly greased plate. Cool and cut.
