    Chocolate Chip: Dave's Deadly Chocolate Chip Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    2 1/4 cups flour
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    1 cup butter, softened
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 eggs
    12 ounces chocolate chips (2 cups)
    2 cups walnuts, chopped

    Recipe

    Get a big bowl, and throw in everything except the chips & the nuts. Mix this around. If the butter is soft it goes fast. If the butter is frozen it takes patience. Then add the chocolate chips and the nuts. Scoop out heaping tablespoon fulls of dough and put them on a baking pan about two inches apart. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Bake for 9-10 minutes and check them. Done when edges are lightly browned and centers are set. A few notes: Instead of butter you can use margarine or some blend. Don't leave out the salt, it's what really makes chocolate chip cookies happen. The dough can be saved in the refrigerator for 5 days or so.
