1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup lemon powdered sugar, divided
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, divided
1 cup flour


Recipe

Beat butter and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth and blended. Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice; beat in flour. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF 10 to 11 minutes or until set. Bottoms will be light brown, tops won't. Cool. In small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup lemon confectioner's sugar and 1 teaspoon lemon juice until a spreading, almost drizzling consistency. Spoon over cookies. Store when icing is set. Makes about 18 cookies.
