Snickerdoodle: Oatmeal Snickerdoodles

List of Ingredients

2 c Flour
1 t Baking soda
1/2 t Salt
1 t Cinnamon
1 c Butter -- or margarine
Vanilla extract
3/4 c Granulated sugar
3/4 c Light brown sugar -- firmly
Packed
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c Oatmeal -- old fashioned; or Quick cooking oatmeal
2 tb Granulated sugar
2 ts Cinnamon


Recipe

Mix all ingredients well about 5 minutes. Place by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. For topping, mix together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle with a teaspoon over the cookies. Bake at 375ºF for 10-12 minutes. Cool.
