    1 cup unsalted butter
    6 ounces cream cheese
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
    3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
    1/2 cup powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Cream butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in flour until just combined. Divide into 2 portions, wrap in plastic wrap; chill for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water; blend in peanut butter and remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar; set aside. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Roll each portion of chilled dough into a 12x12-inch square on a lightly floured surface. Cut each square into 2-inch squares; place about 1 1/2 teaspoons of filling in center of each square (divide any leftover filling equally among squares). Fold 2 opposite corners of each square to the center to partially enclose the filling; press corners together to seal. Place 1/2 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: 12 cookies
