    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 cup butter, softened
    2 tablespoons water
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 packages solid chocolate mint candy wafers

    In large bowl, combine sugars, butter, water, vanilla and eggs; blend well. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Add to sugar mixture and mix on low speed until well blended. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours for easier handling. Heat oven to 375ºF. Using 1 tbl. dough, press dough around each candy wafer to cover completely. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets.
