    6 large eggs
    1 1/4 pounds semisweet chocolate
    12 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400ºF. Separate 6 large eggs, placing whites in large mixer bowl. Melt the chocolate, butter, and sugar in double boiler until smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk in egg yolks one at a time. Beat egg whites with pinch of salt to soft peaks. Gently fold into chocolate mixture. Pour into 9" springform pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes until center is just set. Cool on wire rack. Serve at room temp, with whipped cream. Can be made ahead; refrigerate up to two days.
