    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup butter
    1 1/2 teaspoons clear vanilla
    5 cups powdered sugar
    2 tbl. milk (2 to 3)

    Recipe



    Cream butter and shortening then add vanilla. Add sugar a cup at a time beating on medium speed. Add milk 1 Tblsp at a time and beat on high until fluffy. HINT: To cut the sweetness can add about 1/4 tsp. of salt dissolved in the vanilla. Makes 3 1/2 cup.
