    Chocolate Fudge Pecan Frosting

    4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
    1/4 pound butter
    1 pound powdered sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2/3 cup chopped pecans (or less)

    Recipe



    Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Cool. Stir sugar, milk and vanilla together until smooth. Add chocolate mixture. Set bowl in a pan of ice and water and beat frosting with a wooden spoon until it is thick enough to spread. Fold in nuts. Frosts a 2 layer cake.
