    2/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup light corn syrup
    2 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
    1 cup sugar
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 pinch salt
    1 unbaked 9" pie shell
    whipped cream

    Recipe



    Combine butter, corn syrup and chocolate; melt together. Cool. In mixer bowl, beat together sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Blend in chocolate mixture. Pour into pie shell and bake at 325ºF for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 275ºF and bake another 40-45 minutes or until set. Cool and then serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Top with grated chocolate. Serves 8.
