    "Yes, this sounds strange, but this turns out great -- very much like a custard or bread pudding."

    List of Ingredients




    4 hot dog buns (buny's note: I've used sub rolls for this as well or hamburger buns)
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1 cup sugar
    4 eggs
    2 cups milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    Cinnamon or nutmeg

    Recipe



    Open buns and lay facedown in a 9x13-inch pan. Melt butter; pour over buns. Mix sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla; pour over buns. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
