    Banana: So Easy Banana Caramel Pie

    List of Ingredients

    baked 8" pie shell
    1/4 cup cold water
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup boiling water
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    4 ripe bananas
    1/2 cup heavy cream

    Recipe

    In saucepan, mix cold water with egg yolks; stir in sugars, flour and salt. Gradually add boiling water, stirring briskly. Cook, stirring, for 3-5 minutes or until smooth and thick. Add butter and vanilla; cool for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate until serving time. To serve, slice bananas over filling. Whip cream and spread over all.
