Bread Pudding: Vanilla Bread Pudding

2 slightly beaten eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups bread cubes, cut 1"
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins


Recipe

Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt; stir in bread cubes. Stir in brown sugar and raisins. Pour mixture into 8x1 3/4-inch round ovenware cake dish. Place pan in larger shallow pan on oven rack; pour hot water into larger pan 1 inch deep. Bake at 350ºF about 45 minutes of till knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
