    1 pt. Hummus

    List of Ingredients

    1 can garbanzo beans -- (20 oz) drained
    3 tbsp tahini -- (sesame seed paste)
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    3 cloves garlic -- crushed
    1 scallion -- minced
    1 Dash Salt
    Parsley Sprigs -- optional

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients except parsley in a blender or food processor and blend into a thick paste. Pour into a serving bowl and chill. Garnish with parsley, if desired and serve with whole wheat crackers or raw fresh vegetables. Makes about 40 tablespoons . (serving size is 2 tbsp)

    NOTES : per 2 Tablespoons = 62 Calories, 2 gr Fat, 2 gr Fiber, 13 Sodium
