    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cups quick cooking oats or old-fashioned oats
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 whole wheat flour
    3/4 cup reduced fat buttermilk
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product or 2 egg whites
    1 Tablespoon sugar
    2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    Beat all ingredients with hand beater or whisk just until smooth. (For thinner pancakes, stir in additional 2 to 4 tablespoons milk.)

    Spray griddle or 10 inch non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Heat griddle over medium heat or to 375 degrees. (To test griddle, sprinkle a few drops of water. If bubbles scatter around, heat is just right.)

    For each pancake, pour a scant 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook pancakes until puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides until golden brown. Makes 9 pancakes (1 pt. per pancake)
