    3 pt. Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

    8 ounces crescent rolls red. fat, can, pillsbury, (1 can),
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
    1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons chopped pecans or
    2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    Recipe



    1. Unroll crescent roll dough on lightly greased surface (dough disk), and firmly press dough perforations together to form a 7-1/2x14-1/2 inch rectangle.

    2. Spread softened butter over dough.

    3. In small bowl, combine chocolate chips, sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over buttered dough to within 1/2-inch of the edges.

    4. Lightly press mixture into the dough. Beginning at 1 long end, roll up dough jellyroll-style, and cut into 3/4-inch slices.

    5. Place slices 1 inch apart in greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.

    Makes 16 rolls. 3 pts. each

    * Original recipe called for regular crescent rolls.
