    1/4 cup dark rum
    6 tbsp dark brown sugar
    4 very ripe mangos, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) pieces
    1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
    1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts

    Recipe



    1. Preheat oven to 350¡F (175¡C).

    2. In medium, nonmetallic skillet, stir together rum and 4 tablespoons brown sugar. Bring to a boil, add mangoes and stir gently over medium heat for 2 minutes. Spoon mango and syrup into 4 dessert bowls.

    3. Stir together remaining brown sugar, oatmeal and macadamia nuts. Spread on a small baking sheet and bake until browned, about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    4. Sprinkle oatmeal topping over mango mixture and serve.
