    List of Ingredients

    8 ounces uncooked vermicelli

    Sauce ingredients:
    1/2 cup orange juice
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 teaspoons sugar
    3/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes -- (or 1/4 t.)

    Stir-fry ingredients:
3/4 pound boneless beef sirloin steak -- thinly sliced
1 medium onion -- cut into 16 wedges
    1 clove garlic
3 cups fresh broccoli florets -- (about 6 ounces)
1 small red bell pepper -- cut into thin strips -- (about 1 cup)

    Recipe

Cook vermicelli to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients; mix until well blended. Set aside. Spray large nonstick skillet or wok with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and onion is crisp-tender. Add broccoli and bell pepper. Cover; cook 2 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Add sauce; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly and thickened. Serve beef mixture over vermicelli.
