Salsa: Hot Chili Salsa

List of Ingredients
2 1/2 qts. diced and peeled tomatoes
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 med. onions, diced
1 or 2 hot chili peppers
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1/2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cloves (optional)
2 tsp. allspice
Recipe
Combine all ingredients. Heat gradually to boiling point. Simmer 1 hour or to desired thickness. Pour into hot jars and adjust lids at once. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 pints.
